According to initial investigations, the fire reportedly started in the bakery area and quickly spread throughout the establishment during maintenance work. Two employees were installing a membrane on the ceiling with a blowtorch, which caused a short circuit and sparks that ignited a polystyrene covering, triggering the fire.
